I'm a disciple of science.

DESCRIPTION. Ema is a tall, pretty woman, about 5'10, with long, dark brown hair. She keeps some of that hair tied back in a messy half-ponytail. Two long stands of hair hang in front of her ears, reaching her collarbone. The rest of her hair reaches the middle of her back. On top of her head is a pair of white-framed, pink glasses. Her eyes are a light blue, almost gray color, with thin lashes. Her body is covered in a light pink, button up blouse, a dark pink and white necktie in the collar. A hunter green vest with gold buttons covers the blouse. Around her waist and legs is a pair of chocolate brown capri pants, the cuffs rolled up, with a black and gold belt. Her shoes are low-heeled, black shoes, with black ribbon around her ankles. On top of all this, she wears a white lab coat that's about a size too big, the sleeves rolled up, the back reaching her knees. A pink and brown bag (with test tubes poking out from it) and a pink watch on her left wrist complete her look.

PERSONALITY. SCIENCE. No, seriously. Ema loves, lives, and breathes science and everything surrounding it. Of course, because of this, she's still a bit awkward when it comes to social relationships, because most people find her odd. Despite this, she's cheerful, optimistic and mostly happy. Ema firmly believes in the people she cares about, especially her sister, Lana. She has some odd quirks and tends to munch on food while people talk to her, especially Snackoos, her favorite. Ema can ramble for days about a topic if it's scientific, but otherwise... She sometimes goes off on tangents, and has to be dragged back to the topic at hand. She rarely emos, unless you bring up her past. Due to her past, she also has a small fear of thunder.

Her mind is like a sponge, and she loves an intellectual or scientific challenge. Despite her smarts, Ema is more driven by instinct when push comes to shove, and at times does not think things all the way through. She still takes notes in a small notebook, as she did when she was younger, and while half her notes contain relevant and interesting observations, those who look through the notebook would also see that half of them are useless, such as: 'Note: Fish and chips is only half correct."

PARTICULARS.
Intelligence: Ema really has quite the smart brain. She just tends not to use it ALL the time. However, when the going gets tough (or scientific), she will kick her brain into gear and give you the results, whether you want to hear them or not.

Notebook: Ema's version of the Bible, Ema's notebook is her lifeline, or so she claims. Were one to read through this notebook, they would find what could be called pearls of knowledge in a sea of random, useless facts.

Luminol: This chemical spray is Ema's best friend. Luminol is used to detect trace amounts of blood left at crime scenes. It can also be used for the detection of copper, iron, and cyanides (though Ema will tell you only biologists use it for that).

Snackoo Throwing: Snackoos are a snack that Ema discovered while being in London, a fried snack from Japan that was a common fixture at the world market that was attached to the building she was staying in. Upon tossing one at her roommate for messing with her test tubes, Ema discovered she was dead-on accurate with her throws, every toss resulting in a 'headshot', as it were. So, from then on, Snackoo throwing became Ema's form of punishment, though she mostly only uses it on stupid people; more than that would be a waste of the delicious treat.

Other Science Tools: They're in her purse, but don't look, because that'll really piss her off.
